Is there any way to relieve ultram withdrawl at home?

i do not want to gett addictied to another pill that i have read about that doctors give to relieve withdrawl so is there any over the counter or suggestions that anyone knows about i would be very grateful.i believe that people need to know that this drug is addictive as my doctor told me that is was not i am very angry at the fact that no one seems to know about this drug even the pharmacy told me i had nothing to worry about it is not any more addictive than taking alka seltzer he told me.please anyone who knows anything help! thank you!
