Do we have a right to health care?

I happen to believe that everyone owns their own bodies, and therefore they own their own labor. Health care is a service, provided by someone who has devoted a large investment of time and money to the trade. They should be able to sell their service at a rate reflective of their investment in learning it, and patients should be able to negotiate for a fair price for services performed. However, if we have a RIGHT to health care then doctors MUST perform their trade regardless of price simply because the patient NEEDS their service. In effect it is coercing the doctor to labor based not upon a mutually advantageous contract, but rather upon a definition of need defined by somebody else. And that seems inherently wrong to me. Can anyone show me the flaw in my logic without resorting to emotional appeals? Can you prove that we have a right to health care?

Why is there a pressure regulator behind a pressure switch controlled pump? Pump pressure switches function for years and may finally burn the points or break springs but they don't change cut in/cut out settings by themselves. If you know what the previous settings were and that's what the guage registers you very likely don't have a defective guage. Before you start cranking on adjusting screws you need to suspect a broken plug in that pressure reducing valve, or by any chance is there an in-line filter system or water softener? A suggestion: A thirty five or forty pound kick out pressure wiIl give you all the household pressure you need and will increase the life of your pump, plumbing, faucet seals and of course, the pressure reducing valve. Incidentally, hose bibs don't have screens and tank bladders have a specific precharge and you do not change that when you change pressure switch settings.

I DO NOT DENY THE HOLOCAUST!! It is ridiculous that i have to give that disclaimer, but if I don't I am labeled a racist. My Summer of fun is over, and time to get myself back in gear. (I only gained 5 pounds woohoo!!) Anyways this is my first week back into running and I'm starting off simple. My routine this week has been, cup of Coffee at 7:30 (I know!!! But it helps me wake up) Running at 8:30, done around 9:10. Cool off, shower ect; Then about 10am I eat the real oatmeal oat..not the sugary ones. Problem is one serving isn't quite enough, I'll be hungry again in maybe 2 hours. So I been making 2 servings (with a little maple syrup). As Big as that bowl is, I'm suprised I never get stuffed. Since I eat it around 10:20-10:30 my excuse has been I didn't have breakfast and it can be my lunch...so its Brunch. But I am wondering is eating the 2 servings is "Xing" out the run I just did, or am I doing good because its 2 servings of oatmean and not cold cereal, or burgers.

Hello everyone. My best friend was put down yesterday, my 12 year old dog. It's so sad to see him gone, but I have a good feeling god is up there taking good care of him. I picture him up there hunting all the ducks and pheasants in the world. I picture him so strong and healthy, just like he was when he was young. I picture him eating all the dog bones and dog treats in the world. I can also see him looking down at us, seeing our sadness. I se him standing by us, trying to let us know he is happy and is not suffering anymore. He is so happy an free as ever, I just have a feeling. I make the place where he always used to sleep in my room nice and clean, just in case he wants to come and lay down. Even though he is not here, I can feel him in my room. I can feel him laying down in the spot and sleeping. In my mind, I can hear his claws tapping on the hard wood floor like he used to. That is a sound I will always miss. Anyone ever felt this way? 1998 Dodge durango wont shift?

i have a 98 Durango with a 318. When it gets cold (happens more in the cold than in the warm)its takes a while for the transmission to shift from 2nd to 3rd (its an Auto trans). its almost like it has to warm up before it shifts. i can go at least a mile and it still wont shift, sometimes i have to give her alot of gas and alot of rpms to get it to shift. Any Suggestions? Trans fluid looks fine and no i will not add lucas transmission goop.

Is Flaxseed oil and Fish oil too much for my American Pit Bull Terrier?

He's 60 lbs. I currently give him fish oil for his coat and skin but it doesn't seem to be helping. He still has really dry skin and he still itches a lot. He's been tested for all skin issues including demodex and sarcoptic mange but has tested negative all three times. Skin scs have shown nothing. Vets don't know the source of the dry skin and itching. He is currently eating Blue Buffalo dry and Wellness canned and was previously eating Evo. So I know for a fact that the food isn't the issue. I've askied his vet this question but she gave me the answer to everything but the question asked. I'll ask her again on tuesday when I take him in for his shots but until then I was hoping I can get somewhat of an idea of what the mix of supplements do. If he's given both of these supplements what will happen? I'm looking for answers that'll help. I don't want to hear stop being irresponsible and do what's right for your dog. I

I am 21, i live in philadelphia, i have a wife (20) and a son of fours months. However, i joined the active army last year. I rushed the asvab and scored a measly 43, and was conned into 11b (infantry) because it was the mans ways to go and only that way. I played around not taking into thought that my wife (not yet pregnant) was depending on me to bring myself home in ACU's. I fought another trainee and disrepected a drill sergeant. I was given an ELS (entry level separation). The dd-214 reads: Chapter 11 uncharacterized, R-E code 3a. It does not read misconduct. I was told by my Co before i left that i could come back in 6 months should the waiver be a "go". Now here i stand, giving allthis private information, waiting a response from the good people that are ex or current soldiers (hoping i would get some advice on how to proceed with this) providing but barely, scared and inspired to get me and my family out of this mess and city and into the structured lifestyle i wish to have. deployments will be no problem. What's are good treats for cats that are nutritious, affordable and easy to get?

Normally I just buy the basic stuff at PetSmart. But I decided to treat my cat and got some expensive stuff from PetCo and from a mom and pop shop. So I really have two questions. What's the best of the three I got in case I want to really treat my cat every once in a while and generally speaking, what's the best affordable and easy to get cat treats that I can find around that won't bankrupt me? I am trying to avoid corn and all the other fillers and meat buy products but when I get the cheap stuff, I have no choice but I can't afford the expensive stuff all the time. The three expensive ones I got are Innova Cat Treats which cost $3.99 though I don't think that for its size it had the most treats inside. The next one is chicken flavor Liv-A-Littles Healthsome Cat Treats by Halo Purely For Pets. This cost $4.99 and seemed to have a bit more in it than others for its 3 ounces. The last of the three is Wellness Pure Delights Turkey and Salmon Jerkey. This cost $3.99 and says it has over 300 pieces in it. I'd say this would be my expensive choice, but I think that while she eats it, she reacts with more enthusiasm with things the can bite that are hard. I think think it's that cracking sound she likes when she bites into something hard. I tried some sardine jerkey from Wal-Mart for $2.99 but while she tried to eat it, she has a real problem cracking the harder dried jerkey. I get the feeling any treats have to be able to fit in her mouth for her to want it. The one over the counter I have been getting regularly is Whisker Lickin's cat treats by Purina. I get the hard ones, not the soft ones. They're not the best, but at $1 a pack, the ingredients look better than other over the counter. I've tried the Friskies, but then learned the ingredients stink. So I need to know what's the best of what I got if I can only get one of the expensive ones and if there is a good one better that I should look for that is fairly easy to get, feel free to let me know.
