I have been living with someone for 8 months then find out he is married with 3 kids can i sue him for adultry?

i did not realize i have been paying her bills and i am out 8,000.00 dollars how can i recoup my losses no p note, just total shock, we had plans to marry.he has a good job now and went back to her, i was left in the cold.
