Advice on how to become a military pilot/aviator? routes to get there? which branch?

I'm currently a sopre in high school with a 3.8 and all ap cles and i run xc (went to state). I have civilian flying experience and plan on being an instrument rated private pilot by the time i graduate. I am in the process of joining Civil Air Patrol. I don't have much preference on flying fighters/heavies/helos.. Which branch would provide me the best shot? Air Force or Navy/Marines? I am extremely interested in going to Embry Riddle for college.. Would NROTC or AC give me adequate chance of becoming a military pilot? What do i need to do to give myself a great chance of securing my pilot slot?
