Oblivion for xbox 360 problems, freezing and glitching.?

for some reason on the mission to get back the hammer heirloom for the lady on the farm, i picked it up from the body and 2 appeared in my inventory and it wont let me give it to her. also now i am stuck on the hunters run and whenever i leave i am stuck, i can look around but no moving or inventory. that is my only save the rest got deleted. i can see the orc running around, but he just runs around me. how do i clear my cache or fix it somehow?
